Unison is the onsite Property Manager for the Nicholson.  Unison is a specialist in managing medium- and high-density communities, and our experience confirms that this approach — being onsite, bringing together a range of ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ skills — is required to manage these communities most effectively.

Unison operate out of the ground floor at Shop 3 of the Nicholson and are available during business hours to assist residents in settling in and provide a daily point of contact for any property related queries.

Susan Ashcroft is onsite to assist in the management of your Owners Corporation as the Place Manager for the Nicholson. Susan has been in the industry since 2010 with experience in managing residential and commercial Owners Corporations of various sizes and complexities.

Moreland Energy Foundation Ltd, or MEFL, is an independent not-for-profit organisation. Established over 10 years ago, MEFL is dedicated to reducing greenhouse gas emissions across the municipality of Moreland, and in the process assist people to minimise their energy bills. To achieve this aim MEFL works closely with the local community and all levels of government. Currently over 3000 households, businesses and community groups are participating in MEFL??™s core program, Zero Carbon Moreland, and are receiving independent, expert advice to help them reduce their emissions and their bills.

Electricity
An embedded network enables the electricity purchasing power of all participating dwellings to be aggregated with one bulk electricity contract. In this way, the embedded network operator ??“ WINenergy is able to offer participating residents a 20% discount on the standing tariffs offered by retailers in the area.

WINenergy is the manager of the embedded network and the supply of electricity will be provided for and managed by them. They will be the default electricity supplier, however, you can make arrangements with any other energy retailer.

Phoenix Fridges is a social enterprise operated by the Brotherhood of St Laurence. Phoenix provides a FREE home collection service across metropolitan Melbourne for unwanted whitegoods (including fridges, washing machines, dishwashers and clothes dryers).

The appliances are assessed for repair and may be repaired and reconditioned (to improve efficiency) for sale through the Brotherhood??™s community stores, or recycled for scrap metal. Phoenix also helps long-term unemployed people to gain full-time work by providing traineeships.
